Matthew Bishop, left, and dad Mike with Matt's first bird taken near Roslyn, South Dakota, last November. The Bishops hail from Easton, Maryland. Devin Johnson sent this photo of his son Jace, 7, with grandpa Davis on his first hunt last fall. Devin McDonald, second from left, celebrates his first rooster with father Wade (far left), both of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. At right are friends Mark and Dustin Olson of Fairmont, Minnesota. Looks like Nicole Maalis, 11, had a great time hunting near Milaca, Minnesota, last October with father Craig Maalis. Dad said Nicole is a natural shot, dropping her first bird like a pro. Noah Baumann, 12, left, and father Nick Baumann (center), both of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, celebrate Noah's first bird along with friend Norman Pahl. Alex Nelson, 12, of the East Wenatchee Washington State Chapter, bagged his first and second rooster last September 23 at the chapter's youth hunt.
