Seminars are a major attraction at National Pheasant Fest and we've assembled some of the finest experts in variety of outdoor areas, including wild game cooking, bird dog training, habitat planning, hunting destinations and more! Presenters will also include biologists and specialists from Pheasants Forever and a number of state game agencies. From young to old, everyone can learn something at National Pheasant Fest. And perhaps the best part about the seminars at this great event is there are new seminars nearly every hour, on the hour.

Bird Dog Parade
No one can resist a dog. And who doesn't love a parade? Pheasants Forever has combined both into the Bird Dog Parade! The Parade will kick off National Pheasant Fest 2009 on Friday, February 6 at 12:30 p.m. at Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center. This is a great event for the entire family and includes over 25 different sporting dog breeds and Pheasants Forever's lovable youth mascot, Rudy the Rooster.

Bird Dog BonanzaPresented by Native Performance Dog Food and SportDOG
The popularity of sporting dogs is such that an entire section of the National Pheasant Fest 2009 show floor will be dedicated to the National Bird Dog Bonanza presented by Native Performance Dog Foods and SportDOG Brand electronic dog training systems.

Renewable Energy & Wildlife Habitat ForumPresented by Alliant Energy
The first-ever Renewable Energy & Wildlife Habitat Forum will be held at National Pheasant Fest 2009 and will examine the future of renewable energy and the opportunities for wildlife habitat. Representatives from Pheasants Forever, Alliant Energy, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the United States Department of Agriculture and nationally-recognized experts from around the country on the issue will be taking part in the Forum. The highlight of the Forum will be an expert roundtable discussion on "Biomass and the Birds" beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 7.
